MMA Veteran Added To UFC 78 Card Reported By

UFC.com reported Saturday that MMA veteran Joe Doerksen has been added to the UFC 78: Validation card as a replacement.
Doerksen will substitute for David Terrell, who was forced to withdraw from the event due to an ankle injury. Terrell was scheduled to fight Ed "Short Fuse" Herman in one of the event's five main card bouts.
At press time, Doerksen (39-10) vs. Herman (15-4), was still scheduled for the live portion of the event.
Doerksen is coming off a loss to Paulo Filho in the Zuffa-owned World Extreme Cagefighting organization. Herman most recently defeated Scott Smith at UFC 72.
