UFC Reveals Liddell's New Opponent Reported By

UFC.com announced Thursday that "Sugar" Rashad Evans will fight marquee fighter Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell at UFC 85.
Liddell was originally slated to fight Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, but the highly-regarded light heavyweight was forced to withdraw due to a knee injury.
Evans' decision to step up for the Liddell fight means his scheduled May fight with Thiago Silva is now off.
“I think he’s a legend,” said Evans, speaking highly of his UFC 85 opponent. “No one has dominated a weight class for as long as he did, and when he went on that seven fight win streak, just knocking people out, that was very impressive and you can never take that away from a fighter. I think he solidified himself in the sport by doing that.”
Both Liddell and Evans are coming off division wins; Liddell beat Wanderlei Silva in December, while Evans topped Michael Bisping in November.
